These words are engraved on a memorial bench in Asbury Park, and they capture the spirit of this work.
Sarah loved community. She had a rare ability to connect with people across different parts of her life and to make others feel seen, welcomed, and valued. Whether through school, service, travel, or everyday interactions, Sarah showed up with warmth, curiosity, and care for others.
These efforts, along with many others — and the impact they create — are happening so that Sarah’s passion and commitment continue to live on.
